| TRACK WORKOUT -- LEHI HIGH SCHOOL
With Mike, Toni, and Chris. Did not feel great today, but sometimes you just have to gut it out and get the job done. I'm sure my fatigue was due to a lot of miles since Friday, and lack of sleep.
Did 6 x 800m repeats (with 400m jog between intervals). Other than the first interval (2:24), splits ranged from 2:19 to 2:21. As always, Mike and I worked together. He was very strong today. In fact, he blasted a 2:15 on the last one (I let him go). My last one was 2:21 -- plenty fast for not feeling it today.

| 21.5 miles with a healthy crew. 10 easy miles up Provo canyon, then 10 mile tempo (South Fork to Orem soccer fields) in 5:21 average. Felt strong. Good workout, but intentionally kept it controlled and didn't go too hard. Mike and I ran together. He looked great. Most mile splits were 5:14-5:18; was 5:19 average until the last 1.5 hilly miles.
