21.5 miles with a healthy crew. 10 easy miles up Provo canyon, then 10 mile tempo (South Fork to Orem soccer fields) in 5:21 average. Felt strong. Good workout, but intentionally kept it controlled and didn't go too hard. Mike and I ran together. He looked great. Most mile splits were 5:14-5:18; was 5:19 average until the last 1.5 hilly miles.

Really strong run. You are looking good for whatever you are training for. What's the next big race?

Thanks, Derek. I'm planning on racing Grandma's marathon. I'll have a couple tune-up 1/2's before then.

Cool! My wife and I are going to race the half this year. It's such a great race. I did it in 2012. One of all time favorites. The people there are just about the nicest I've ever experienced.

Awesome! I look forward to meeting you there.

Great run Matt and solid week of training. Looks like you guys have dusted off the Provo Canyon run earlier than usual this year. It never gets old.
