AM:  Planned on doing tempo outside this morning. But, no surprise, with the new snow storm, roads were snowy and icy. So, I took it inside and decided to do tempo on the treadmill.  Warmed-up 5 miles. Then, did 4 miles in 20:00. Just set it at 12 mph and pushed stop 4 miles later. Felt great. Because it felt so great cardiovascular-wise, I thought about continuing for another mile or 2. However, my legs were telling me they were ready to be done (and I've learned many times over the years to listen to the legs when they are so communicating). Happy with the workout. Feeling strong. Warmed-down 2 miles. Then did hamstring and upper-body weights.

I am so done with this winter! But at least the air is currently clean!

PM:  6 very easy treadmill miles.

Good running Matt. 5 min miles for 4 miles is good going, especially as you felt you could continue. Great workout.

No doubt you did the workout at 2 in the morning...:)

Great workout Matt! Way to not let the icy roads get you down. I agree with Brandon, Fritz's 10 @ 12 challenge may go down soon.
