Treadmill workout with Mike. 4 mile warm-up, 2 mile warm-down. 6 x 1000's at 3:00 each (12.4 mph, 4:49 mile pace). 2 min rest (slow running) between intervals. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. Felt like I could have done several more, but given my recent hamstring issues, I decided to play it safe and ease into things. Workout was definitely easier with Mike there. He did 8 intervals and looked great.

OK, how come I can keep up with you on the TM but not at all on the road? What brand of TM are you using?

Nice pace Matt! Looking good.

Burned it up!

Merry Christmas.

Fantastic effort Yoda. Great pace. Love how consistent you are even when injured.

Nice workout Matt. Not many treadmills or people run at over a 12mph pace.

This guy got up to 25mph.

Will you be around for a New Year's Day long run? Have a great Christmas!

From Matt Poulsen on Tue, Dec 24, 2013 at 13:32:47 from 166.137.209.42

Thanks guys. I hope you all have a great Christmas!

Dave: it's because you're an animal. I think the treadmill brand I used today (at the gym) is Lifetime, but I can't remember for sure.

Fritz, let's definitely plan in a New Year's Day run. 25 mph. Wow! I hope I didn't look like that on the treadmill today :) (almost falling off).

We use Lifetimes as well! They go to 14 MPH, at Anytime Fitness. I'm still trying to work up to a full mile at 14, but I can only get to .61 so far...

Hey maybe we should all get together and have a treadmill race. Whoever overheats theirs first wins :) Extra points for interesting smells.

Good idea, Dave!

OK, if you go to Anytime Fitness, just let me know what time you are doing the TM thing on Tuesday and I'll be there. If we can get Mike and maybe a few more it will be Hi-Larious.
