Sorry to hear that you haven't seen any improvement. Have you tried using a tennis ball and really digging into it? I hope you see some improvement soon.

Fritz, I haven't yet tried a tennis ball, but I've thought about it. Great idea. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the tip. I have, however, been having brutal trigger-point type massages (mostly my wife's elbow, thumb, etc.), and an occasional brutal formal massage.

Sorry about the hamstring. It'll be great to have you back out there!

From Fritz on Thu, Feb 21, 2013 at 20:46:44 from 67.177.4.64

Your wife's elbow should be more effective but the tennis ball is still very convenient because you can use it while sitting in a chair at work. Obviously I am still no expert when it comes to fixing hamstrings. I think being sick and doing nothing for two days was a blessing in disguise for me. Have you tried getting sick? :) Kidding aside I hope yours gets better soon.

Hope you get better. Such a tough decision to rest or run especially when nothing's fixing it. Sounds like you have a very helpful wife, though!

Thanks guys. Good point Fritz -- maybe I need to get sick again :) Tennis ball... here we come.
